We are the only hypnosis program in America that trains you in how to work directly with the clients inner guides and higher self as the primary source of healing.
We provide state of the art instructional quality and materials. We have a new 200 page workbook created by an instructional design engineer and which is used in hypnosis trainings throughout the country.

first 100 hours of the Alchemical training is called the personal growth
training. It provides an exceptional personal experience of transformation
through group support, insight and daily experiential processes. As
a member of the "personal growth" team, you will not be required
to demonstrate specific hypnosis skills. This program costs only $2,000.00 (or $1,800.00 if paid 3 weeks in advance) plus textbooks.

Not all hypnosis trainings are alike!
After attending four other schools of hypnosis in the United States and appreciating what they had to offer, I have high standards in evaluating any new school. However, I was "blown away' by the awesomely brilliant and comprehensive system of Alchemical Hypnotherapy developed by David Quigley! What deeply impressed me were several things other schools either did not offer or offered in small doses.
First, the manual, combined with David's in-class notes, was the most comprehensive and detailed workbook I have ever encountered. The rationale for the use of every technique was first explained and then the logic of each step. Moreover, every contingency was accounted for, enabling the beginning hypnotherapist to feel confident in facilitating any of the techniques.
Second, each day the lecture was immediately followed by an afternoon's worth of small group work, in which students practiced the techniques with each other under the guidance of superbly trained assistants. These assistants added their own nuances to David's processes, further enriching the work. And these daily practices ensured that the students would imbed the modalities not only into the conscious mind, but also deeply into the subconscious.
Third, Alchemical Hypnotherapy addresses the mental, emotional, spiritual and even physical aspects of the client. The Somatic Healing classes, for instance, address all these levels with techniques unparalleled in their substance and effectiveness. Moreover, the spiritual aspects of the client's issue are treated, not as something esoteric and foreign, but rather as an integral and even an everyday part of the client's healing. Whenever I would wonder if there was an Alchemical technique to address a special issue, all I had to do was look in the catalog; and there it would be, in one workshop or another. This is not surprising since David brings to his creations a wide variety of perspectives that he combines into a seamless and practical, yet far-reaching system.
Fourth, Alchemical Hypnotherapy offers not just insight into and emotional release for a client's problem, but also relief from the problem itself through actually changing the past traumatic circumstances. In effect, Alchemical work gives the client a new childhood, often with the discovery of loving and accepting Inner Parents. These changes in the past ripple ahead energetically to positively affect the client's present self. This is not just a change in perspective about the past; it is, instead, a changing of the past itself with profound effects on the client's present body and his/her emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions.
Fifth, the Alchemical Hypnotherapy Training created, quickly and easily, a deep camaraderie among the students that I have not encountered anywhere else. The practice modules, in particular, provided the safety students needed to be vulnerable enough to work effectively with some of their most delicate and private issues. Deep friendships began in this alchemical vessel.

I came to the hypnosis training as a six-year practicing hypnotherapist, having studied with well-known teachers in the field. I had hoped to fill in some blanks and gain some new insights. From the first day the training exceeded my expectations enormously. Alchemical hypnotherapy is the only system I have seen that shows you how to work step-by-step with a client through true healing of our deepest wounds.
Additionally, at the personal level I happened to come to the hypnosis training in the midst of a major life crisis. Because of that I thought I might get less out of the class, but hoped the personal healing would offset that. Again, I benefited far beyond my expectations. The warmth and professional support of the staff, especially Debbie and David, was fantastic. The personal support and understanding from other students was a healing in itself and that was only able to happen because we were in a safe and loving atmosphere.
I do not easily use the word “transformational” because it is sometimes used so carelessly that the meaning gets lost. Still I can say that for me, it was transformational, and the skills I acquired help me to preserve those transformations and continue to grow personally and professionally.

After practicing hypnotherapy for a year I began to realize that, although I had received excellent training from one of the well known schools in the Bay Area, I was not sufficiently prepared for dealing with the needs of all my clients, especially women who had experienced childhood trauma. I felt ineffectual in helping to alleviate the lingering pain and emotional turmoil from their unresolved childhood wounding.
I discovered in my Alchemy training, powerful techniques a hypnotherapist can use to facilitate the healing of childhood trauma. During the intense experiential parts of the training I underwent my own emotional clearing to heal my inner child and met some inner guides that have become essential to my ongoing growth. In addition I learned techniques to unify the divisive parts of the self that leave us confused and isolated. I was especially impressed with the alchemical approach to some of the more common issues such as addictions, phobias and weight. These methods are uniquely powerful in that they go deeper than other hypnosis strategies to heal the wound’s underlying addictive behaviors and phobic responses.
The training I received at the Institute has been invaluable to both my personal and professional growth. I am currently integrating it into my practice and returning to take advanced classes. I highly recommend this training for any hypnotherapist or psychotherapist who wants to take their practice to the next level.

My life has improved dramatically
I met David Quigley shortly after I'd left my marriage of twenty years. I'd been only half-alive with a sense that something was missing in my life and I blamed my marriage partner for that emptiness. So I walked away from the security of that relationship in search of the missing piece. I thought that I just needed to find a new partner, one very different from the one I'd just left. Little did I know that what I was looking for was actually inside me! Alchemy helped me find my missing pieces and reclaim them as important parts of my whole self.My first session with David Quigley was very powerful. I re-united with a valuable inner resource, my Inner Gypsy/Sorceress. This Gypsy had actually been my "imaginary playmate"...my best and closest friend from my childhood that I had lost connection to many years past. I was moved to tears and in that very first session I knew that not only would this work deeply and profoundly heal and transform my own psyche, I felt a calling to study the work in a way that would allow me to contribute to others. I enrolled immediately in the next training.
Then, immersing myself in Alchemy, I apprenticed and assisted David in teaching for the next five years while continuing to do my own process and build a private practice. If I'm already a certified hypnotherapist, or licensed therapist, what can you offer me?
| If you wish to incorporate Alchemical Hypnotherapy into an existing practice, you are eligible for a special discounted tuition on 100 hours of training with the Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis. We call this the "Alchemical Package", with tuition of only $1,700.00. Textbooks are optional, for an additional $100. Applicants to the Alchemical Package program are required to submit documented evidence of a minimum of 100 hours of previous training with an approved school. Successful completion of these 10 days of intensive study - guaranteed not to duplicate any previous training - leads to certification as a hypnotherapist specializing in Alchemical Hypnotherapy. This program includes Courses #201, 301, and 303. |
