I experienced during the training was so profound, that I was moved
to complete the training, start a practice and become a hypnotherapy
teacher myself.

Finding Love and Intimacy
I'm a survivor of long-term sexual and mental abuse. I felt alienated and worthless. I couldn't trust anyone or anything. I faked it. . . husband, family, friends, but underneath it all, my true self was screaming in pain. Years of doing many kinds of therapy didn't help. The Alchemy training helped me, finally, to heal the wounded places inside and open my heart to love. I am free at last to become an active, functioning human. I can give and receive love. Leaving Shame Behind
Like many others, I was imprinted with shame from an early
age. Fundamentalist religious programming along with a dysfunctional
family laden with depression, rigidity and fear left me feeling like
I was doomed to carry the sins of the cross with me until I died and
surely went to hell. By the time I reached adolescence I felt wrong
simply for being. This is the essence of shame.
This sense of defeat led me through my journey into darkness as I took
on the identity of a lost soul. I ran away from home in my teens. Barely
escaping the drug and street scene with my life, I spent the next two
decades trying to put myself back together again. After years of various
types of talk therapy I finally discovered Alchemical Hypnotherapy.
I knew from my very first session that this was different. Alchemy empowered
me to embrace all my shadow parts, including my shame and fear. I discovered
the strengths and gifts that each part has to offer. I learned how to
integrate these parts and channel the energy of each part into a cohesive
whole, working together for my greater good.
I believe that I survived my adolescence for a purpose larger than my
self. Sometimes we find ourselves caught up in playing out dramas and
traumas in order to get the love we long for so desperately. Alchemical
Hypnotherapy broke that cycle for me. Alchemy is for those who are ready
to do their work to release identification with shame and become the
creative, healthy, joyful, loving human being that is their potential.
After rigorous discipline, study, personal work, and practice I am now
qualified and grateful to be of service to others as an Alchemical hypnotherapist.
I help others to empower themselves, healing the wounds of shame and
integrating into wholeness. I now practice in the Santa Rosa and Sebastopol
areas of California and share the joy of my personal transformation
with those clients who trust me with their journey.

Mending the Broken Heart
I have spent a lifetime creating relationships with people who were not able to return kindness, love, and caring. The result was a painful, frustrating wasting away of my own heart through starvation.
During my training as a Hypnotherapist, an Alchemical journey restored my power to make healthy choices. This transformative process allowed me to discover and change the old programming that kept me locked in a hopeless pattern, trying to squeeze the blood of kindness and caring out of "turnips." Now in their place I am drawing into my life people who are alive and warm, and have hearts full of love and generosity of spirit. I have also experienced a blossoming of creative energy, and am astounded by how much of that energy was drained off by that old pattern. Now I am joyfully pursuing my dreams.

Finding A Soul Mate
I attended a two week intensive that was wonderful in all aspects. I met new friends, gained new insights and developed lots of additional skills.

The Alchemy training opened my eyes to new possibilities of healing
I had never dreamed of in my medical training. During one of David's
Empowerment workshops, I was able to end a lifelong pattern of unrequited
longing for romantic love and commitment during a powerful ceremony
of past life work. Within a year, I met my present partner and now have
enjoyed for 3 years a wonderful intimate partnership for the first time
in my life.

The Miracle of Love
Before the training 7 years ago, I was a dietary consultant and seminar leader, But despite my successes, my heart was barely alive. Since the training, the difference is like night and day in my life. I now live from my heart and much less from my head. I feel a deep sense of inner peace and connection to myself, my God, and other people.
I realized I needed to heal my relationship with my mom if I was to ever have a successful relationship. I've done so far beyond my expectations...in addition she's learned to let love in her life and now at 80 years is living her dream with her new husband. Alchemy has helped me create a loving romantic relationship for 6 years now that just keeps getting better as we both pursue our joy and support one another.
Working with my inner child and inner mate have filled me with feelings of joy, bliss, and love...sometimes I feel so full of joy, it feels like my heart will pop! It's hard to remember back to that abandoned infant in a fetal position hiding under a blanket that I met at the beginning of the training. She constantly thanks me for saving her from her fetal grave and has gifted me by pouring Bliss into my life. This is only one of the numerous moving spiritual experiences I've had as a result of this work. They allow me to love and trust life and God and turn my life and work over...unbelievable given where I started!
